Strictly ‘locals only’, the Seven Wonders of Shoalhaven initiative is sparking some healthy competition between the northern and southern ends of the region, with entries submitted from Plantation Point to Pigeon House Mountain. These entries and more can be seen on the Facebook and Instagram pages or by searching #shoalhavenwonders.

The Seven Wonders of Shoalhaven is open until Friday, 7 September, 2018, so there is still plenty of time to nominate your local wonder from the following categories: adventure; business; experience; food and drink; nature; people; and places.

Mayor Amanda Findley says

“There’s so many local wonders to choose from, it’s hard to pick just one. For me, I would have to say one of my favourite places is the indigenous cave walk at Burrill Lake, known as the Giriwa Bagan walking trail. There is fantastic interpretive signing and you can go there any day of the year, without having to compete with millions of people, and have a wonderful experience.
